This kit contains the USPI Diesel Oil Flter, connecting oil hoses, and other universal adapter parts for complete installation. The aluminum sandwich adapter with the 2 threaded connectors mounts between your present full-flow filter and the block and is about 2" high. You will need enough clearance to remount the full-flow filter to it.
The USPI Automotive Filter IS NOT a replacement for your full-flow filter. This a bypass filter is used in addition to the standard filter installed on the engine block.
The UPSI filter is approx 8" long and 4.25" in diameter. You will need a place somewhere in the engine area to mount the USPI filter. See photos in the installation page for ideas.
