We now have a filter for diesel engines that will fit the engine mount up to but not larger than 1-1/8".
You asked for it and now we have it. We can now provide the same quality filter for diesel engines. We can fit the universal sandwich adapter to diesel engines providing the threaded mount to the engine block is no larger than 1-1/8". We are engineering an adapter for the larger 1-1/2" mounts but probably wont have them available until the Fall of 2007.

One of the byproducts of combustion is water. When oil gets overheated, the water molecule will capture part of a hydrocarbon chain making the oil less effective and forming a new water-hydrocarbon product called sludge. The USPI oil filter removes and can retain up to a pint of water, keeping sludge from forming.
